Communication is Key: How SpaceTogether Keeps You Connected

It happens to the best of us, but it doesn't make it any less frustrating when it happens to us—especially when money is involved. One of the biggest pain points of communication in modern business is the failing of technology—or the failure to be accountable with it.

How do we know this? Despite being on the receiving end of this ourselves, we interviewed hundreds of people who were already sharing space while we were building SpaceTogether because we wanted to know how to build something that would eliminate those major pain points. One of the most common complaints we heard was the range of reasons why the communication failed. We knew we couldn't change how often people check their messages, but we knew we could do something just as solid: build a software with secure messaging that keeps track of messages and indicates that it has, indeed, been received.

We built it and tested it out and are proud to say that there's simply no more "I didn't get the message" with us. We made sure of it.

So, what does this look like for our SpaceTogether users?

Communication between renters and providers is always documented and received on our website, ensuring that all parties are able to keep up with each other and be on the same page. This is especially important when keeping track of important things like touring facilities and discussing payment options. Once a offer from a renter is accepted by a provider, you will be able to message them by clicking the mail icon at the top right of the page. This way you will be able to work out the final details before finalizing the agreement and making a payment.
